Under Pressure - Remote Paramedic course - Malta, 2017

​After every couple of textbook paragraphs, my mind tend to always wonder ...and nothing seemed to stick. The medical textbook seemed to use a different language altogether! So Youtube seemed to be the best teacher for me.


​Once at Malta, the exams are every couple of days, and it doesn't seem to help that the passing marks on each exam are 80% and above. On the 4th week, the pressure intensified after i failed my 3rd exam.

​The only solution = Learn quick from Youtube and study study study, means more sleepless nights.



​But then there is also practical exams, and the weekly scenarios, it never ends!



I think one of the ways i coped with the pressure was to run every evening. That was my go-to when it got really tough.

The final day, the Oral Board Exam - 3 examiners (2 instructors and 1 medical director), face to face, each examiner would get to ask me 2 questions. Super nerve wrecking! I had never sweat so much at my armpits before!



I am so glad thats done.
