There are so many things to write about Norway!
In early June of 2019, I worked as a Sea Kayak guide on a little island in Norway called, Skrova. The beauty was everywhere, the clear waters, the mountains, and of course, the unusual (for me) 24 hour sunlight! But working as a sea kayak guide is not easy on the body, which makes sleeping actually quite easy, even though its bright outside.

In the beginning of September, as we start to lose the midnight sun, there was a different type of light that was out and about. It was the one I have been waiting for…. The spectacular Northern Lights!
The moment I saw it I couldn’t believe it. It was passed midnight, running around the village with my camera and tripod. And I wasn’t alone, there were Emil and his wife Helena, and Michal and his dog Chilli, all awesome friends, which were the ones who told me to look out for the lights that night. We were running like headless chickens, trying to get the best shot!

I was even in an advertisement (above) for Visit Northern Norway!

The next couple of nights, I behaved myself during the Northern Light gazing. I was mostly alone. But as it was toward the end of the contract, some good reflection time, with spectacular views of the night, was the perfect way to end my time in Norway.
